Swarovski is a brand whose tradition dates back to the late 19th century. Daniel Swarovski was the son of a craftsman grinder who loved working with glass. Under the watchful eye of his father, young Swarovski gained experience in the family grinding factory and attempted ever more daring ideas and inventions. In 1892, Daniel Swarovski patented his first glass-cutting machine – from then on, the jewellery market would never look the same.
