Cairo Night (blue goldstone) jewellery in 925 silver | Polcarat Design

Cairo Night is a deep navy stone filled with tiny silvery sparkles that look like a starry desert sky. It is the blue version of goldstone, an aventurine glass. We set it in oxidised 925 silver, whose dark tone makes the sparkles even brighter.

What is Cairo Night?

Cairo Night, also called blue goldstone, is a navy aventurine glass with light-reflecting flecks. It is man-made, not a mined mineral, and shares its structure with the golden-brown goldstone (desert sand).

Handmade in oxidised 925 silver

We make every piece by hand in the Polcarat Design family workshop in Rumia, Poland, running since 1984, using deliberately oxidised 925 sterling silver.

Care

Store pieces separately, protect the stone from knocks and clean with a soft dry cloth. Avoid silver dips and ultrasonic cleaners.
