What is chalcedony?

Chalcedony is a natural mineral, a fine-grained variety of quartz with a hardness of 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale, so it handles everyday wear well. Agate is a banded form of chalcedony.

Care

Store pieces separately, take them off before bathing or using cosmetics and clean with a soft dry cloth. Avoid silver dips and ultrasonic cleaners.
